I just hope they keep the joystick mechanics for the Medium and Large tags. 'Cause at least I understand that the Small and XL are more likely to be wanted for single icon tags.

It took Bomb Rush Cyberfunk for someone to move their ass with a JSR sequel. It always works that way. It takes another developer to make something similar for you to move your ass and finally listen to what the fans have been speaking up about for years. So at the end of the day, you’re not actually listening to fans, but instead scrambling because another developer put that boot sole upside your hiney.

They have made a few attempts to remake this game. Hopefully this gets out of the concept stage.

The only thing wrong with both games is the same lack of moves. Unlike a Tony game we never seen the rollerblades taken as seriously. Bomb Rush board were to large with not enough in them.

All they need to do is add in the full set of blading moves. Thats it. lets see how much they screw it up.

Jet set radio future was one of the reasons I loved Japan growing up. Now im a grown ass adult living here watching the trailer for the sequel.

Combo does have a boombox in the final image you showed. I just noticed it now but its just a minature one it seems. I dont mind tbh. Main reason i never played with combo was because of the huge boombox he had

I like how the accepted strategy to defeat the final boss seems to be "get lucky then camp". I won by getting one point and grinding on the middle part for 4 minutes. Too bad they don't give out cheese medals but at least we beat this nightmare of an endgame lol

I finally got to play JSRF recently after playing both JSR and BRC and I have to say gameplay wise, JSRF is the clear winner for me. I really do like BRC’s gameplay but it definitely has more flash over substance which I was a little disappointed by after playing for some time. JSRF’s physics based movement alone makes me love it more than BRC, it adds a lot of depth to the game and you can really take a hold of the map design to play however you want; it also makes the game feel far more smooth and fluid imo. With that said I have only played the first stage so I don’t know if I prefer the whole game to BRC but so far I am loving it. All 3 of these games are really fun and I can’t wait for the next JSR game.

I have always felt Jet Set Radio 1 was better than future. I don't see the appeal in ignoring physics

Prof K was playable in JSRF but he was really hard to unlock. It the only game I ever 100%-ed

I always did the 100 tricks challgenge in the residence zone on the rails around the outside edge of the lowest part of the level, there's a staircase rail that goes to a ladder on each side, just flip off before reaching the top and you'll reverse on the bottom rail and on the other side go up the other ladder, repeat

what is 2:52 it looks like Jet Set Radio Future but I don't remember that part at all

I'm here because I recently bought the Battle Network Legacy Collection on Switch, only knew it existed last year, but it's cool to see this on Wii U, if I had known of its existence while the eShop was open I would've bought these on my Wii U. Awesome video from 9 years ago, tho.

Damn, I played every Freemium mmo back in the day, this was one of them, really enjoyed it for it's unique playstyle and artstyle compared to most mmos, pretty cool to see it returning. I'll probably check it out when it's fully out.

Future is definitely a better game but im sure it also costed a lot more to make (still a relatively cheap game to make at the time though)

I dumped hours into future. Wish it was playable on the series x. I would love to see these games be released in a collection pack one day. All 3 together would be great but it’s wishful.
